Story.

Having moved to the country five years ago, I feel fully immersed in this new way of life and relish the time I spend here. Drawn to the idea of embracing this new-found joy, I set a project in motion and Country House Locations in the result.

My obsession with interiors began at Art College, where I studied History of Design, specialising in Decorative Arts, I spent hours (in fact, probably days) poring over interior books and magazines. From there I joined Condé Nast in 2000, as part of the commercial team at The World of Interiors Magazine. During my time at Vogue House, I was exposed to mind-bending creativity and it has had a resounding influence on me. While being surrounded by a never-ending parade of beauty isn’t exactly reflective of real life, it was instrumental in shaping my taste and fuelling my own curiosity and creativity. I also made lifelong friends there, not only with colleagues, but also with clients - all of whom I admire, and continue to be inspired by today. Thirteen years later, I began working for myself as a PR consultant for many of the most creative and well-respected design brands in the business.

Fast-forward nine years, and I’m beginning a new journey with Country House Locations, which will sit along side my PR consultancy Katharine Howard Style. I hope my experience and relationships, will help establish CHL, as a rich source of inspiration.
